Support doesn’t always have to happen alone.
Our in-person resources bring people together through workshops, group sessions and practical activities in a supportive environment.
These sessions are designed to encourage conversation, connection and learning, while providing people with practical resources they can continue using outside of the session.
Sessions can be adapted for different groups, settings and needs, making them suitable for community groups, organisations, educational settings and other spaces where mental health support and awareness are needed.

Legally Detained also offers in-person workshops, talks and public speaking sessions designed to educate, challenge stigma and encourage honest conversations around mental health.
Through personal experience, education and open discussion, I speak about topics that are often difficult to talk about — creating spaces where people can listen, learn, ask questions and feel less alone.
Talks and workshops can be delivered at:
Schools & colleges
Universities
Community events
Charities & organisations
Mental health events
Youth groups
Awareness events
Conferences and panels
Whether it’s a small group discussion or speaking to a larger audience, the aim is the same: to make people feel heard, understood and empowered to start conversations of their own.
