FINDING YOUR VOICE
A SPACE TO BE HEARD WITHOUT HAVING TO EXPLAIN EVERYTHING PERFECTLY
Finding Your Voice is a creative journalling and wellbeing programme created for autistic girls and non-binary young people.
The programme grew from a simple question- What would it have meant to have a space like this when I was younger?
Finding Your Voice creates a gentle, creative and neurodivergent-affirming space to explore identity, emotions, overwhelm, masking, sensory needs, confidence and self-expression.
Through creative journalling, group discussion and reflection, participants are supported to explore themselves without being expected to fit into a particular idea of what being autistic should look like.
Each participant receives their own journal and creative materials, creating a personal collection of reflections, ideas, strategies and resources they can continue using beyond the programme.
This isn’t about fixing young people. It’s about giving them space to understand themselves. To find their voice.
And to know that it deserves to be heard.
